Product
What is humblx?
humblx is a mobile-first platform for non-clinical hospital operations. Four modules are live: Housekeeping, Facility Maintenance, Desk Management and Feedback Management. Incident Management, Discharge Tracker, Porter, Energy & Utilities and Asset Management are coming next. It is also used by corporate offices and other large facilities.
Which modules does humblx offer?
Available today: Housekeeping, Facility Maintenance, Desk Management, and Feedback Management. Coming next: Incident Management, Discharge Tracker, Porter, Energy & Utilities and Asset Management. NABH readiness is not a separate module: every module keeps NABH-ready records.
Can we start with one module?
Yes. Modules can be deployed individually. Many hospitals start with Housekeeping and add maintenance, helpdesk and feedback after the pilot.
Does it work on basic Android phones?
Yes. The frontline app is built for the phones housekeeping and maintenance staff already use, with simple scan-and-tap flows.
Hospitals & NABH
How does humblx help with NABH accreditation?
humblx digitises the rounds, logs and corrective actions that NABH facility management, infection control and patient-rights standards ask for. Records carry timestamps, photos and owners, so evidence is ready during assessment.
Is patient clinical data stored in humblx?
humblx manages non-clinical operations: locations, tasks, assets, tickets and feedback. It is not an electronic medical record system.
Who in the hospital uses humblx?
Frontline housekeeping, maintenance and support staff; supervisors who verify work; and quality heads, facility managers, nursing superintendents and COOs who use dashboards.
Deployment & ROI
How long does implementation take?
Most deployments go live in under 30 days, starting with a pilot area and expanding department by department.
What return can a hospital expect?
The biggest return is audited spend. On paper, 40–45% of housekeeping spend is never verified; with humblx, 90–95% of inspections are audited, bringing 30–40% more of the budget under audit. On a ₹90 lakh budget that is ₹27–36 lakh a year that is now verifiably delivered. Use the audited spend calculator for your own numbers, and ask us for a payback estimate based on your quote.
Do you provide training?
Yes. Onboarding includes training and change-management support for staff, supervisors and administrators.
Modules
How does humblx prevent fake housekeeping entries?
Each area has a unique QR code. Staff must scan it on location and attach timestamped photos before a task can be marked complete, so entries cannot be back-filled from the nurses' station.
Can we create separate checklists for OT, ICU and wards?
Yes. Checklists are configurable per area type with their own parameters, photo requirements and frequency, so an OT turnaround checklist differs from a general ward round.
Does the housekeeping app work when the network drops?
Yes. The app is built for the Android phones housekeeping staff already use and keeps working without a network, so rounds in basements, OTs and ICUs are not lost.
How does Housekeeping help with NABH audits?
Every inspection is stored with the area, time, staff member and photo, along with the supervisor's verification and any escalation. Compliance by area, shift and staff exports as audit evidence for infection control and facility management standards.
Can we audit an outsourced housekeeping vendor?
Yes. Vendor-wise SLA audit reports show what each contractor delivered against the agreed schedule. In a live hospital deployment, vendor SLA delivery rose from 30% to 90% with the same housekeeping budget.
Can different trades have their own queues?
Yes. Work orders are categorised by trade, so electrical, plumbing, HVAC, civil and carpentry jobs route to their own teams and carry their own SLAs.
Can vendors close jobs themselves?
Vendor technicians can be given restricted access to update and close their assigned jobs with photo proof, which keeps AMC performance on record.
Does Facility Maintenance cover preventive maintenance?
Yes. Recurring PM plans run on a calendar or on usage for HVAC and OT air handling, DG sets, UPS, lifts, electrical and plumbing, and every completed job is added to that asset's service history.
Does it cover biomedical or medical equipment?
No. Facility Maintenance covers building and engineering services: electrical, plumbing, civil, HVAC, DG sets, UPS, lifts and fire pumps. Medical equipment stays with your biomedical engineering team.
How do ward staff raise a maintenance request?
They scan the QR code in the area or use the app. The job is assigned by trade and timed against response and resolution targets, technicians reply "Noted" and "Done" on WhatsApp, and jobs close with before-and-after photos.
Can patients raise requests without installing an app?
Yes. Patients and attendants scan a bedside QR code or message on WhatsApp. No download or login is needed.
How are tickets routed?
Routing rules use the request category and the location encoded in the QR code, so a washroom leak in Block B goes straight to the plumbing team covering Block B.
Which channels can requests come from?
Bedside and counter QR codes, the mobile app, web and WhatsApp, plus requests logged by supervisors from phone calls and the intercom. All of them land in one queue.
How do we know requests are handled on time?
Each request type has a priority, response clocks and an escalation matrix. Staff acknowledge tickets, reminders go out on WhatsApp and email, and MTTA, MTTR and TAT are recorded on every ticket. At KIMSHEALTH, turnaround fell from 172 to 45 minutes.
What happens after a request is closed?
The requester is asked to rate the resolution. Ratings feed the quality team's reports and staff performance, so slow or poor service shows up by team and location.
Does humblx support NABH CAPA documentation?
Yes. Each complaint can carry root cause, corrective action, preventive action, owner and closure evidence, which is the trail auditors ask for.
Can surveys be in regional languages?
Surveys are configurable, so questions can be set in the languages your patients use.
Where do patients give feedback?
By scanning QR codes at discharge, OPD, wards and other touchpoints, or on WhatsApp. With HIS integration, OP feedback forms can be sent automatically after a visit.
What happens to a negative response?
Low scores and keywords open a ticket for the department that owns the issue, the assigned person is alerted on WhatsApp or the app, and the ticket runs through CAPA to closure. At KIMSHEALTH, feedback tickets now close in 2.8 days instead of 32.
What reports does the quality team get?
NPS and sentiment trends by department, doctor unit and touchpoint, live department CSAT dashboards, and MTTA and MTTR on feedback tickets, ready for quality committee reviews.
Does this replace our clinical incident reporting?
No. Incident Management will cover operational, safety and patient-experience incidents. Clinical incidents, adverse events and medication errors will stay with your quality team's existing process. If someone reports a clinical incident in humblx, it will be routed to the quality team so it isn't lost, but the handling will stay with them.
Can negative patient feedback become an incident?
Yes. When a negative feedback response or a complaint in Feedback Management points to something that went wrong, such as lost belongings or a serious service failure, you will be able to raise it as a patient-experience incident. The incident will keep the link to the original feedback, go through root cause analysis and close only when its CAPA is verified.
Who can report an incident?
Any staff member, including housekeeping, security, front office, engineering and nursing. They will be able to scan the QR code at the location, use the humblx app or send a WhatsApp message, so nobody will need a desktop login to report what they saw.
How is an incident different from a helpdesk ticket?
A helpdesk ticket asks for something to be done. An incident is something that went wrong and needs to be understood: what happened, why, and what will stop it recurring. Incidents will carry severity, an investigation, a root cause and CAPA. You will be able to escalate a ticket to an incident when it turns out to be more serious.
Can an incident create a maintenance job?
Yes. When the cause is a facility fault, such as a loose floor tile, a leaking pipe or a failed corridor light, the corrective action will be raised as a Facility Maintenance work order and closed with photo proof.
Does the Discharge Tracker handle medical discharge?
No. The medical discharge, the discharge summary and billing stay with your clinical team and HIS. The tracker will start once discharge is advised and cover the non-medical work on the room: equipment removal, linen, maintenance checks, the inventory check, the terminal clean and inspection.
What starts the clock?
Discharge advised, recorded by the ward or bed desk, or received from your HIS where it can share discharge events. Hospitals that prefer a later start will be able to begin when billing clearance and patient exit are recorded. Whichever you choose, discharge-to-ready time will be measured the same way for every room.
What happens if maintenance finds a fault during the check?
The technician will log it with a photo, and it will become a Facility Maintenance work order with its own SLA. The room will show as waiting on maintenance until the job is closed, so the bed desk knows why it isn't ready.
Can we estimate what slow room turnaround costs us today?
Yes. Our bed turnaround calculator uses your own discharges, turnaround times and revenue per bed-day to estimate the bed-days tied up between discharge and a ready bed. Our article on bed turnaround time explains where that time usually goes.
Can wards request a porter without calling?
Yes. Nurses will scan the ward's QR code, use the app or send a WhatsApp message. The request will carry the location, type and urgency, so the porter desk won't have to ask.
How are requests assigned?
By zone and availability. Each porter will cover one or more zones, and a new request will go to an available porter in that zone. The porter desk will see every job and be able to reassign when needed.
Will every porter need a smartphone?
Porters will accept jobs and scan at pickup and drop-off on the humblx mobile app. For teams where not every porter has a phone, we'll work out shared-device or desk-updated setups with early-access hospitals.
How is this different from wheelchair requests in Desk Management?
Desk Management already takes wheelchair and stretcher requests as tickets. Porter will add what a porter team needs on top: dispatch by zone, scans at pickup and drop-off, live status for the person who asked, and workload per porter.
Do we need smart meters to start?
No. You will be able to start with QR-tagged meters and photo-backed readings on mobile, and add connected meters as they are installed. Both kinds of reading will sit in the same reports.
Does it monitor medical gas systems?
It will record medical gas pipeline readings, such as consumption and supply pressure, as utility data alongside electricity and water. It will not be a medical device and will not replace your medical gas alarm system or its safety checks.
How much will we save?
We don't quote savings for a module that isn't live yet. What it will give you is reliable consumption data per block, area and occupied bed, plus alerts for unusual use, so your team can find waste and act on it.
How does it connect to maintenance?
When an alert points to a fault, such as a leaking line or a DG running outside its schedule, it will be raised as a Facility Maintenance work order. Readings for plant such as DG sets and chillers will sit next to that equipment's service history.
Does Asset Management cover biomedical or medical equipment?
No. It will cover building and engineering assets: HVAC and AHUs, chillers, DG sets, lifts, UPS systems, pumps, the STP and electrical systems. Biomedical and medical equipment stay with your biomedical engineering team and their systems.
How is this different from Facility Maintenance?
Facility Maintenance, live today, runs breakdown and preventive work orders. Asset Management will add what sits around them: a full asset register and hierarchy, a 52-week PPM plan, AMC contract tracking, condition readings and predictive alerts. Work orders will still run in Facility Maintenance, and each closed job will add to the asset's history.
Can we import our existing asset register?
Yes. Existing spreadsheets will be imported and a QR tag generated for each asset. We'll work through the clean-up and a walk-down check with you during setup.
What does predictive mean here?
Alerts based on the readings your team records or your connected meters send: a steady rise in vibration or temperature, run hours nearing a service interval, or the same asset breaking down again and again. It will be a prompt to inspect and plan, not a guarantee that a failure is coming.
