The challenge

Paper checklists get skipped, back-filled or falsified, especially on night shifts. Quality heads cannot tell which areas were actually cleaned, supervisors spend their day chasing staff, and infection-control audits rely on registers nobody trusts.

The humblx solution

humblx replaces registers with QR codes placed in every room, washroom, OT and ICU bay. Staff scan on arrival, complete a configurable checklist and attach timestamped photos. Supervisors verify on mobile, missed areas escalate automatically, and the quality team sees live hygiene compliance by block, floor and shift.

Checklists

Room, washroom and OT parameters

Guided onboarding. Four steps to go live: organisation, staff, buildings and checklists, each confirmed as it's completed.

Recreated from the humblx app with sample data.

  1. Setup (Web console): Facility or IT lead configuring humblx for the first time.
    • Guided onboarding: Four steps to go live: organisation, staff, buildings and checklists, each confirmed as it's completed.
    • Checklist builder: Build room, washroom and OT checklists from a parameter library, and choose which items need photo proof.
  2. Supervisor · Reporting (Mobile app): Floor supervisor doing rounds with a phone.
    • Scan and check: After scanning the room's QR code, each parameter is passed or flagged. Flags carry a count straight into the report.
    • Photo proof, then submit: Issues need notes and at least three photos before the report can be submitted. No register, no ghost entries.
  3. Supervisor · Tickets (Mobile app): Same supervisor, closing the loop on flagged issues.
    • Issues become tickets: Every flagged parameter opens a ticket with the area, time and description, ready to assign.
    • Assign in two taps: Pick the team and the person. The ticket moves from Unassigned to Assigned, with a timeline and comments.
  4. Manager (Web console): Housekeeping manager or facility head.
    • Live reports: Which facilities are reported, unreported and in shift right now, with when each was last checked.
    • Inspection feed with evidence: Every inspection with who raised it, parameters checked, issues found and the photos behind it.
  5. Admin (Web console): Quality head, COO or group operations lead.
    • Every site at a glance: Staff, facilities and actual versus expected inspections for each organisation in the group.
    • Ticket board: Open, assigned, in-progress and resolved tickets across teams, with ownership and status in one table.

Frequently asked questions

How does humblx prevent fake housekeeping entries?

Each area has a unique QR code. Staff must scan it on location and attach timestamped photos before a task can be marked complete, so entries cannot be back-filled from the nurses' station.

Can we create separate checklists for OT, ICU and wards?

Yes. Checklists are configurable per area type with their own parameters, photo requirements and frequency, so an OT turnaround checklist differs from a general ward round.

Does the housekeeping app work when the network drops?

Yes. The app is built for the Android phones housekeeping staff already use and keeps working without a network, so rounds in basements, OTs and ICUs are not lost.

How does Housekeeping help with NABH audits?

Every inspection is stored with the area, time, staff member and photo, along with the supervisor's verification and any escalation. Compliance by area, shift and staff exports as audit evidence for infection control and facility management standards.

Can we audit an outsourced housekeeping vendor?

Yes. Vendor-wise SLA audit reports show what each contractor delivered against the agreed schedule. In a live hospital deployment, vendor SLA delivery rose from 30% to 90% with the same housekeeping budget.
